13th – 17th March and/or 4th – 8th September 2023: BTEC Level 3 Restraint Instructor Award Course (Also Known as PMVA, Positive Handling, MVA, etc.) – ONLY 2 PLACES LEFT!
NFPS Ltd was actually the first company to ever write a BTEC Award in this area and we did it so that we could create a benchmark standard qualification that has internal and external verification built in, which is issued by Pearsons (the largest Awarding Organisation in the world).
It is a very popular qualification and very highly thought of in the industry.
Everyone who has attended this course has got so much from it, not only in terms of knowledge and skills, but in self-belief and self-confidence.
Almost half of the places for this course have already been taken and (as always) we get enquiries for this course almost every day, which you can find out more about here – https://nfps.info/physical-intervention-trainer-course/
And if you want to know why, read the testimonials and information and watch the videos on the webpage here – https://nfps.info/physical-intervention-trainer-course/
Then if you are interested in attending this course simply click the ‘Claim Your Free 30-Minute Strategy Session’ button on the webpage and let’s talk!
Also, if you are a company that requires a invoice please get in touch soon as all course places must be paid for before they are confirmed.
Even if you have trained in another system, this course is worth doing for CPD (Continual Professional Development) reasons, because of the immense amount of additional knowledge and skill you will gain from doing it.
And here’s a video on the benefits to you of this course – ‘The Benefits To You In Attending The BTEC Level 3 Restraint Instructor Award Course‘.

28th Feb and 1st and 2nd March or 26th, 27th & 28th September 2023: BTEC Level 3 Handcuff Trainer Award Course Options
If you would like to become a properly qualified Handcuff and Softcuff trainer with a BTEC Level 3 Trainer Certificate then check out the webpage here – https://nfps.info/btec-level-3-handcuff-trainer-award-courses-2023/.
Handcuff and Softcuff training is a very important tool in any restraint/pmva strategy.
It is well documented (and has been for many years) that a prolonged restraint, especially in the prone position, is one factor that can lead to a restraint related death.
Handcuffs help reduce a prolonged restraint thus reducing the risk of death as well as reducing the risk of any serious injuries to the person being restrained as well as staff.
