How Many Legs Does A Dog Have [Video]

How Many Legs Does A Dog Have?

Now that might seem like a strange question, but it reflects what’s been happening in our industry sector for some time now.

I come across people now who say: “we don’t use restraint, we use rescue techniques”.

“We don’t do restraint, we do safe holding .”

“We don’t use basket-holds. We use a child-safe wrap.”

People and organisations are changing names of techniques to give the (false) impression that what they are doing is in some way not what they are doing (if that makes sense).

Why can’t we all just be honest about what we teach?

By the way, you’ll never see a statue to a committee!

Enjoy the video and if you like it please feel free to share it with your colleagues and if you have a comment feel free to leave one below.

Have a great day.
