HSE, TUC & CBI Joint Statement on Covid 19

As you know I have been putting out risk assessment information relating to Covid 19 and Physical Restraint in lieu of anything that may or may not be forthcoming from Public Health England and you can access that resource on our website if you haven’t done so already.

However, I am also seeing another worrying trend, and that is risk assessments being done to justify something that staff shouldn’t be doing, and that is not the purpose of a risk assessment.

Now many of you know me, you read my stuff, watched my videos and many of you have trained with me or are coming to train with me so you know my values and what I stand for. If you want to come out of this situation you’re going to need help and I’d like to be that help.

Yesterday I put out an offer for a Level 3 Risk Assessment Award Course, which will teach you how to do risk assessments which will help you safeguard your business, keep you and your family safe, reduce the burden on the NHS, Care and our other emergency service hero’s whilst helping you protect yourself from prosecution.

What I’d like you to do is enrol on that course.

But even if you don’t check it out, listen to the video on the web-page and read the entire page. It may be the best investment you make today and possibly this year.

Here’s the link – NFPS Level 3 Risk Assessment Course

PS: It is a legal requirement for every employer and self-employed person to make an assessment of the health and safety risks arising out of their work, and the person doing that must be a competent person. That is what this course
