It is with great regret that I have just heard about the tragic loss of my good friend Peter Boatman.
To me Pete was, and will always be, one of the good guys. I have had the fortunate pleasure and good fortune to have known Peter for any years and he has always been a good friend and a close professional colleague and confidant.
For me personally, Peter’s death is a great loss. He was as straight down the line as you can get and always strived for perfection and quality, never compromising for nothing less.
For the professional security industry Peter’s death will leave a vacuum and a void that will never be filled by another. His integrity, honesty, commitment and compassion was unique, as was he as a human being.
I owe a lot of what I do today to Peter and I will never forget the effect he has had on me personally and in my professional career.
My heartfelt feelings go out to Peter’s family and his close friends and business colleagues at this time who I know will surely miss him.
I am truely grateful for the last meal we shared earlier this year and it was good to have spent some time with my old friend one last time.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).” – See you on the other-side old friend.
