How To Become a Self Defence Instructor
There are many ways that you can become a self-defence instructor.
But not all are equal.
Some think that to become a self-defence instructor you need to be a black belt in martial arts.
But that’s not true either as this blog post talk about – https://nfps.info/the-difference-between-self-defence-martial-arts/
Others think that you need to have had ‘street experience’.
In other words you need to have had lots of fights before you can become a self-defence instructor.
But that’s not true either.
You don’t have to die to be qualified to be an undertaker!
Teaching self-defence does require some knowledge.
It requires a knowledge of the law.
Which in my opinion is the most important aspect.
Because if you don’t understand what the law allows and prohibits how can you give your students legally correct advice?
It also requires knowledge and understanding of motor skill and performance.
This helps illustrate what skill classification works best in situations of stress and fear.
What’s most important however, is that what is taught works!
So how do you find that out when looking for a suitable training provider?
Well, the best way is by testimonials and reviews from those who have attended.
If other people are willing to offer their recommendation then that is by far the best way to judge a training provider.
And here are some of the testimonials and reviews that we have received about our BTEC Level 3 Self-Defence Instructor Award Course.
We offer a structured system of learning and development that will give you a BTEC Level 3 Award in Self-Defence Instruction.
This set you apart from your competition.
But we also do much, much more than that!
We also teach you about the power of your mind.
This is so we can help develop you from the inside out (as opposed to most training providers who just think that teaching you more skills will make you a better instructor).
We also teach you about marketing too!
I show you simple marketing techniques that you can implement straight away to get your business off of the ground and running straight away.
This is what one person said on the last course:
Here is the link for the video I did straight after the course yesterday. Again totally off the cuff and I’m sure they will get better with practice. The most important thing was for me to get out of my comfort zone and take action before I left Lillieshall. To date I’ve had 284 views and three sign ups, but this is only the beginning. I’m happy for you to use this as an example of taking action and to use my name if you wish.
