Change Your Habits Change Your Life

Why is it that some people consistently get good results in producing the outcome they desire while other people never seem to be able to get the results they want?

What makes some people more productive while others struggle to get one job done?

Why are some people always happy while others are quick to anger?

Why is it that some people are more abundant in virtually every area of their lives while others struggle to make a decent living?

The answer lies in their paradigm – the story they constantly tell themselves and the emotions they choose to feel.

Intelligence Doesn’t Equate To Success!

There are many people in the world who are intelligent. They possess many qualifications and are highly educated but they are broke, not just financially but in many areas of their lives.

Then there are other people who have little or no formal education, very few qualifications but who have abundance in literally every area of their lives.

What this means is that wealth and abundance are not linked to how intelligent you are.

Your Conscious and Subconscious Mind

There are two parts of your mind; your conscious and subconscious mind.

Your conscious mind is your thinking mind. It is your educated and intellectual mind and it allows us to think about whether we should accept or reject the information that we are exposed to.

Your subconscious mind is your emotional mind. It is much more powerful than your conscious mind and it is where your paradigm has been created.

Give Me The Child And By Seven I’ll Show You The Man

You see when you were a child, up to the age of six or seven, your conscious mind hadn’t fully developed so your subconscious mind was exposed to all of the influences in your life. It learned from observing your parents, the environment and every and any other influence that it was exposed to. All of this created your paradigm, which then defined you growing up.

This is why the Jesuits said: “Give me the child and by seven I’ll show you the man”. They knew about this process as did every ancient culture.

Results Don’t Lie!

Your paradigm, the story you tell yourself, is directly linked to the results that you are getting in your life, and results don’t lie.

So if you were brought up with a poverty mindset (and I don’t just mean that financially) where you feel that you lack the ability to achieve certain things, maybe because your well meaning parents told you that “people like us don’t become……” (doctors, lawyers of pilots, etc.,) then that will have helped programme your paradigm.

If you were brought up in an environment where your family lacked money and financial security and you were taught that “money is the root of all evil” and that rich people were bad for example, then that will have influenced your subconscious programming that formed your paradigm.

Let’s say you were brought up in a hostile environment where you were told that you should hate certain people for whatever reason or to look at others as being ‘different’ to you in a not good way, that will have helped program you subconscious paradigm.

The result of this is that you can educate yourself as much as you like. You can gain many qualifications and get a sting of letters after your name, but it will always be your unconscious programming that will determine the results you get in your life.

Negative In = Negative Out

Add to this the fact that many people allow negative information into their subconscious mind.

They choose to watch stuff and engage in conversations that upsets them, makes them angry, etc., and because the subconscious mind cannot reject information the very fact that a person is consciously choosing to engage in or watch something that will affect then in a negative way they are reinforcing and strengthening their paradigm.

This is why so many people self-sabotage their lives.

They have a set of subconsciously programmed habits (an automated set of redundant thinking) that run their pre-set paradigm.

How To Change Your Paradigm

Now this paradigm can be changed, but it can’t be changed intellectually.

It needs to be changed emotionally, which means that your heart must be aligned with your thoughts.

This is why affirmations don’t work for many people.

They walk around saying positive things but they are not generating a positive emotion and because the subconscious mind works on emotion you need to generate the right emotions to help reprogramme your paradigm so that you can change the story you tell yourself to help you get the results you desire.

I’m planning to run a one-day course on this in late November/early December so if you are interested in attending click here to register your interest –
